We would like to extend an invitation to all involved in the metal casting industry to attend and participate in this important event. The Queensland Division of the Australian Foundry Institute (AFI) has the honour of hosting this year’s Annual Convention and our theme is Casting Australia’s Future.

A full and topical program has been planned to support the convention theme.

The Organising Committee has also taken the unprecedented step of offering a one-day training session hosted by the American Foundry Society (AFS) for those delegates who wish to participate in a true learning experience.

A tour of the new SkillsTech Australia Foundry and Patternmaking Training Facility at Acacia Ridge has also been arranged. This facility has been purpose-built to meet the future training needs of the Australian metal casting industry.
